Widows Love Project, held yesterday (Easter Monday) , and it was an outstanding success!!!!!! My God!!! How did the project happen again😃😃😃😃?
We spent eleven hours moving from the house of one widow to the other, reminding them that God was still in charge, that he still loves them, that He is indeed the husband of the widow and that we care for them. We also gave them our gifts of love, in celebration of life and God’s faithfulness. And guess what?
They opened up to us, they shared their stories, their pains, their victories and their testimonies. We connected on very deep spiritual and soulical levels! Ohhhhh, how they blessed us! They prayed for us from their depths and I am so grateful to God for the privilege😊😊.
Some of them cried, three out of the six widows actually cried;
Some cried upon realising how much God desperately wanted to encourage them, that He led us to them.
Some cried when they recounted their terrible experiences received from their inlaws at the demise of their husbands.
Some cried at the hardship they had to endure, carrying a burden meant for two.
And some cried upon realising how faithful God has been to them.
At the end of each visit, you could see the emotional atmosphere change positively. Laughter, joy, reassurance and most importantly, prayers. Diary of a Single Lady team joined hands together and prayed for each widow. Oh what a life changing experience!
Below are the pictures we took at their homes.
